What is Color Run?

The Color Run is an all-ages 5k fun run/walk/jog/frolic that takes place along the Portage Canal waterfront in Houghton. At the start of the run, all participants will toss small bags of washable color dye powder, covering everyone in bright colors. Along the route, color stations are set up for volunteers to spray participants with more color.

The route starts at the Houghton Waterfront Pier, goes along the canal to Prince’s Point, then back up Cliff Drive on the Michigan Tech campus and along College Avenue back to the pier. A map is coming soon.
