Circle UP (formerly known as Keweenaw Young Professionals) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building connection through networking, community involvement, social events, and volunteer opportunities within the Keweenaw. Since 2013, Circle UP has created opportunities for people to connect, collaborate, and become more engaged in the community.

Circle UP is free to join, and is open to new members who want to meet people, get involved, and have fun in their community.

In 2016, the organization became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, allowing us to further our efforts to achieve our mission of providing opportunities for members to connect and grow through local engagement.

In 2026, KYP evolved into Circle UP, a name that better reflects what we’re all about: creating connections, strengthening community, and creating space for people of all ages and professions.

Circle UP is organized and operated by a volunteer board that meets monthly to plan events and initiatives to further the organization's mission.
